Splicescope uses RNA-seq splicing profiles to determine the maturity of both in vivo and in vitro neuronal samples. This allows samples to be accurately assigned to a developmental stage regardless of origin. Furthermore, RNA binding protein-specific scores allow for insights into the maturation of specific developmental splicing regulatory programs.
